What is cloud-based energy management?
It uses sensors, connectivity and cloud software to collect and analyze your building’s energy data in real time. You can see consumption, spot problems and track savings from anywhere.
How does energy management reduce costs?
It shows where and when energy is being wasted, such as equipment running after hours or operating outside normal ranges. Acting on those findings, through schedule changes, repairs or upgrades, lowers operating costs.
Do we need a building automation system?
Not necessarily. Energy management can work alongside an existing building automation system or on its own with sensors and meters. With a BAS, many findings can be acted on remotely.
